Single-phase Ground Fault Comprehensive Management System

The single-phase-to-ground integrated control system consists of a single-phase-to-ground fault pulse-selection device, a single-phase-to-ground fault protection device, and a full-voltage monitoring device. When a single-phase arc-flash ground fault occurs in the system, the ground-fault pulse-selection device generates a half-wave current at power-frequency with a relatively high amplitude to identify the faulty line. After the fault line is identified, an arc-suppression coil combined with a dynamic switch can effectively eliminate the arc-flash ground fault. Meanwhile, the broadband full-voltage monitoring device fully records, processes, and analyzes the voltage waveforms of the power system both under fault conditions and during transient events such as lightning strikes or operational disturbances.

Bus residual voltage holding device

The busbar residual voltage maintenance device is specially designed and developed for medium-voltage distribution systems. Based on “fast short-circuit fault detection technology” as its control foundation and employing an “electromagnetic repulsion fast circuit breaker” as its actuator, this device can, within 10 milliseconds of a branch circuit experiencing a short-circuit fault, automatically connect a “high-impedance reactor,” thereby boosting the voltage at the upstream busbar (PCC point) to 90%. This effectively isolates the faulty branch circuit from impacting the system-side power supply (busbar) voltage, significantly reducing the duration of voltage flicker.

Zero-loss deep current-limiting device

The zero-loss deep current-limiting device is a switching apparatus composed of a “converter” and a “current-limiting reactor” connected in parallel. The “converter” is a combined electrical apparatus that uses an electromagnetic repulsion fast circuit breaker as its main component and incorporates a measurement and control device for rapid detection of short-circuit currents. During normal operation, the “current-limiting reactor” is bypassed by the converter and remains in a loss-free state; it is only activated during short-circuit faults and automatically deactivates once the fault is cleared. This device can limit the magnitude of the original short-circuit current to below 50%.
