On September 10, 2023, with clear autumn weather, coinciding with Teachers' Day, the 2023 Annual Member Conference of the Power Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association was successfully held in Xinxiang, China. This grand event attracted power capacitor experts and scholars from all over the country, as well as leaders in the energy management industry. The conference was hosted by the Power Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association and the Xi'an High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute, and undertaken by Xinxiang Wanxin Electric Co., Ltd.
The conference proceeded smoothly in a solemn and joyful atmosphere. The main leaders attending included: Yuan Fuxing, Chairman of the Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association and Vice President of the Xi'an High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute; Li Liang, Party Secretary and Director of the Xinxiang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology; Gai Bin, Vice Director of the Xi'an High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute; Zhou Xiaozhong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association; and Jia Hua, Deputy Secretary-General of the Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association, among other comrades. Key experts in attendance included: Zhang Jianjun, Senior Engineer, State Grid Hebei Electric Power Co., Ltd.; Professor Yao Cheng, Southern Power Grid Science and Research Institute; Liu Jing, Senior Engineer, Xi'an High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute; and Associate Professor Ge Leijiao, Tianjin University, among other experts. Major participating companies included: Xi'an XD Power Capacitor Co., Ltd., Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shangdian Capacitor Co., Ltd., Herong Electric Co., Ltd., Shandong Taikai Power Electronics Co., Ltd., Rixin Motor (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., Xinxiang Wanxin Electric Co., Ltd., Shandong Hada Electric Co., Ltd., and over 80 other companies.
First, the conference was chaired by Deputy Secretaries-General Zhou Xiaozhong and Jia Hua. Wang Yuandong, Executive Vice President of Xinxiang Wanxin Electric Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome speech. Association Chairman Yuan Fuxing and Li Liang, Director of the Xinxiang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, gave important speeches.
Chairman Yuan Fuxing, on behalf of the association, introduced the achievements and honors made in the past year in industrial output value, technological innovation, and standard formulation, and looked forward to the opportunities and challenges of future development for members. He emphasized: "Under the new economic situation, the electrical appliance industry should strengthen technological innovation, improve product quality and competitiveness, actively participate in international cooperation, ensure that innovation precisely meets market needs, expand marketing space, and make due contributions to the prosperous development of the electrical appliance industry."
Director Li Liang of the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, on behalf of the Xinxiang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, welcomed the attending leaders, experts, member units, and guests. He stated: "Xinxiang is the capital of light industry, with large-scale and technologically advanced industries such as batteries, cranes, refrigerators, and reactive power compensation electrical components. This is the first time Xinxiang has hosted such a large-scale electrical appliance industry event. We hope that all member units will uphold an inclusive, open, innovative, and collaborative attitude, build a good platform, utilize the platform well, and inject new economic vitality into the electrical appliance industry in Henan."
Secondly, as a platform leading technological innovation in the industry, the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association carefully prepared a "technical science popularization feast" of new materials, new technologies, new processes, and new application scenarios in the industry. The wonderful lectures by experts such as Zhang Jianjun, Senior Engineer, State Grid Hebei Electric Power Co., Ltd.; Professor Yao Cheng, Southern Power Grid Science and Research Institute; Liu Jing, Senior Engineer, Xi'an High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute; and Associate Professor Ge Leijiao, Tianjin University, elicited continuous applause from the audience.
Afterwards, the 2023 Annual Member Conference of the Power Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association visited Xinxiang Wanxin Electric Co., Ltd., a specialized, refined, and innovative small and giant enterprise. Comrade Wang Yuandong, Executive Vice President of the company, introduced the company's founding background and growth and innovation journey. Under the guidance of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for grid development, the company engaged in in-depth discussions with attending experts on various topics, including the multi-energy complementation of green energy, the replacement of new technologies and materials, the cross-border impact of artificial intelligence, and the construction of smart factories.
Finally, the conference concluded successfully in Xinxiang, China on the evening of September 10, 2023. The convening of the Power Capacitor Branch of the China Electrical Appliances Industry Association not only provided a platform for exchange and cooperation for electrical appliance enterprises in the industry, but also promoted innovation and development in the electrical appliance industry, and will promote the overall improvement of the electrical appliance industry in the central plains region, which is of great significance in the current economic context.
In 2023, it is believed that under the leadership of the state and the industry, the Chinese economy will surely maintain steady progress, and it is even more believed that the Chinese electrical appliance industry will usher in a bright future.
