Recently, the list of benchmark enterprises for digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Henan Province in 2024 was officially announced, with a total of 100 enterprises selected province-wide. Fourteen enterprises from our city—Wemeng Shares, Zhongyu Dingli, Henan Mining, Yinjin Da Printing, Kelong Power Materials, Xinkelong Electric Appliances, Xinkelong Crane, Rongjin High-Temperature Materials, Wanxin Electric, North Building Materials, Hexie Machinery, Zhongchu Medical, Libai Industry, and Oma Auto—were selected, ranking second in the province.
Currently, digital transformation has become a powerful tool to empower industries and is a necessary choice for promoting new industrialization and cultivating new productive forces. The Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology fully implements the work deployment requirements of building a strong manufacturing city and a strong digital city, deeply implements the digital transformation strategy, focuses on supporting the head enterprises in the industrial chain to build "digital leading" enterprises, and drives the coordinated transformation of upstream and downstream small and medium-sized enterprises in the industrial chain; supports key industries, specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprises to create benchmarks for digital transformation, forming typical models for industry transformation; supports local leading enterprises to transform into industry digital transformation service providers, creating "small, light, fast, and accurate" digital transformation products and solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises to meet the needs of both industry generalization and enterprise individualization. At the same time, we carry out the "10,000 people assisting 10,000 enterprises" activity, strengthen policy support, optimize resource supply, reduce the cost of digital transformation for enterprises, and the pace of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city is constantly accelerating. By the end of 2023, the coverage rate of excellent intelligent application scenarios in key industries in the city reached 32.5%.
Next, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the provincial and municipal series of decisions and deployments to accelerate the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, select industry benchmarks, share typical experiences, organize enterprises to "learn from examples" to implement transformation, guide various innovative resources such as technology, capital, and talent to converge on small and medium-sized enterprises, and effectively solve the problems of small and medium-sized enterprises "unwilling to transform, dare not transform, and do not know how to transform," promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of manufacturing. By 2025, we strive to create 30 benchmark enterprises for digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting the high-quality development of our city's economy and society.
